Evento ocorreu no último domingo (9) sem a presença de público, celebridades e transmissão ao vivo
A 79ª edição Globo de Ouro ocorreu na noite do último domingo (9) em um formato bem diferente do que o público costumava acompanhar anualmente. Por conta das polêmicas envolvendo a premiação, a entrega dos troféus, que premia os principais destaques da TV e do cinema, aconteceu sem a presença de artistas e não foi transmitida ao vivo.
Este ano, MJ Rodriguez fez história ao se tornar a primeira atriz transexual a ganhar um prêmio de melhor atuação em série dramática por seu papel em “Pose”. Assim como no Emmy, “Hacks”, “Ted Lasso ” e “Succession” foram os grandes destaques das categorias de TV.
Já nas categorias de cinema, “Encanto” venceu o prêmio de melhor animação, Andrew Garfield venceu de melhor ator de comédia ou musical por “tick, tick… BOOM! ”, e o remake de “Amor, Sublime Amor”, comandado por Steven Spielberg ganhou por melhor filme de comédia ou musical.
