A cerimônia da 65ª edição do Grammy, a principal premiação da indústria musical, aconteceu neste domingo (5) em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos, e colocou os nomes de Beyoncé e Viola Davisna história.
Beyoncé se tornou a artista com o maior número de Grammys na história da premiação, com 32 prêmios, superando o maestro Sir Georg Solti, após vencer quatro categorias na noite.
Já Viola Davis se tornou EGOT ao vencer o Grammy 2023 pela locução do audiobook “Em busca de mim”, seu livro de memórias. Sua vitória foi anunciada na pré-cerimônia.
A cantora Anitta foi a única brasileira indicada como artista. Ela concorreu na categoria Artista Revelação, que teve a cantora americana de jazz Samara Joy como vencedora.
Apesar disso, o Brasil ainda conseguiu uma vitória na categoria de Melhor Álbum Pop Latino com o grupo Boca Livre, que dividiu o prêmio com o cantor panamenho Rubén Blades.
Lizzo, Harry Styles e Bonnie Raitt foram os vencedores dos principais prêmios da noite: Gravação do Ano ("About Damn Time"), Álbum do Ano ("Harry’s House") e Canção do Ano ("Just Like That").
